South of Tonight

Sporadic murmurs and other pomegranates from a one-way street

Review: Dissolution

Dissolution
Dissolution by C.J. Sansom
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Recommended by an old friend. Another of the historical mysteries I enjoy. A hideous crime investigated by a hunchback lawyer. His search for the criminal is nicely entwined with Cromwell’s ruthless dissolution of the monasteries during the reign of Henry VIII. Informative quick history lesson. Will check out the other stories in the series.

  1. Sounds good. Always on the look-out for new decent authors – just depends whether or not they are in our library 🙂
