Weather Change

Quite a change from the sunny 105° F weather we had last week. Today’s marine layer is much larger than that of yesterday. It has brought a few drops of rain and a coolish 70° but not the 38mph Delta breeze of gestern. From shorts and Tevas to sweatshirt, jeans and sandals. Back to the nineties next week.

A strong marine layer sitting off the coast of Northern California for much of this summer has kept our temperatures about ten degrees below the forecast highs. We’ve had a few days in the nineties and no hundreds so far, making this the coolest summer since our move here in 2003. Suzy certainly enjoys the wind.
