USers will spend eight billion dollars this year on Halloween. Spend half that much by making your own costume and painting your face. Send the other half to an agency that helps the less fortunate. Your pet does not need a costume. Instead let them wear an orange and black break-away ribbon to show their support and yours for all the pets locked up in shelters. Send the costume money saved to your local animal shelter. More money can be saved by creating your own healthy treats. The money may not be yours but it will be money saved in the future in medical costs by giving the kids something besides several pounds of sugar which they do not need. If we thought as much of others as we thought of ourselves what a difference it would make. Have a wonderful Halloween.
